I have always wanted to make art films. Then I thought: Just do it and stay true to your idea of cinematic thinking. I think I have heard that somewhere... Anyway, just say yes to the cinema! Let go (and make films).

Algae comes from my Finnish surname, which means algae in English. Bloom refers to (at least) three things: the dangerous red algae blooms in the seas (because the seas are important), the blooming of one's own film production, and the bloom figure of the French originated Tiqqun collective, which can be thought of as a kind of zone of indeterminacy of contemporary human ambiguity, both good and bad.
